Q: Why do you charge shipping after I have ordered? A: We are trying to reduce our customers cost, we believe in keeping it simple. We do not over or under estimate on shipping charges. Once we receive an order we get an accurate quote from the shipper and this is what you pay. Other places estimate shipping cost based on cost per weight, some on cost per amount spent, and some by the size of the items. We base our shipping cost on the actual shipping cost. Q: Why do you not sell the books directly? A: Most of the time you can get the books we recommend from Amazon in a used but like new condition at an unbeatable price. In other words we are trying to save you some money. Q: Why are there different voltages on the wind turbines? A: The different voltages are to help individuals to build a system that is right for them. Higher voltages can run longer distances on smaller wire but will increase your battery bank size. Q: Is there an alternative to the Skystream tower? A: There is the guyed towers which are used for the Whisper series and an adapter for the Skystream. This is a cheaper route but will take more ground space. Q: I placed an order and paid for it and the order was cancelled and my money returned with a comment saying that this is discontinued, what is this all about? A: Sometimes the manufactures discontinue an item before we get it removed from our website, if this happens we will issue a full refund as soon as this has been determined. Q: Why the hell do you run ads for other solar dealers on your own website ? Are you a scam or what ? A: We are trying to provide everyone with an affordable alternative energy source that will help the environment and help all of us. If we do not offer a price that our potential customers like, then maybe we can assist them in find the price they desire. We are not a scam, we just want to help everyone find the alternative energy products that they want and need. |
